What is ChromaTec™?
ChromaTec™ is a factory-appplied surface enhancer that helps pavers resist staining and maintain their appearence through every season and for every use.
Beyond helping protect against common stains, ChromaTec™ enchances the visual character of the paver. It allows for colours to remain rich and vibrant while also providing the protection of a cleaner surface.
For homeowners, designers, and contractors, this means a slab/paver that combines aesthetics with practical performance.
Better Protection, Better Appearance, Less Maintenance.
The Importance of Surface Protection
Outdoor pavers/slabs need to withstand much more than foot traffic.
A backyard patio might encounter a plethora of hazards such as barbecue grease, food, beverages, and much more. A driveway can be exposed to automotive fluids, dirt and debris aswell. Not to mention all the dirt, leaves and other elements that people track on the bottom of their shoes every day.
Over time, these everyday exposures can leave marks and make surfaces more difficult to maintain the look it had when it was installed.
For property owners, maintaining that original appearance can mean more frequent cleaning and greater effort to deal with unwanted stains.
By improving the surface’s resistance to staining, ChromaTec™ helps make routine maintenance easier while helping the paver retain the colour and character that it made it appealing in the first place.
ChromaTec™ Put to the Test
Performance is key – Seeing it firsthand tells the rest of the story
In our own ChromaTec™ test, our Lyra Pearl slab was exposed to some of the most common staining agents and everyday contaminants before being wiped clean to demonstrate how the surface repells it’s attackers.
The test highlights the important difference of how a paver looks after a spill versus how easily that surface can be cleaned.
The results demonstrated in the video show how ChromaTec™ helps protect the paving surface against staining and makes cleanup easier than ever.
When life happens on your patio or driveway, the pavers should be ready to face the test of time
